A frameless oval mirror gives a clean and slim look to any decor. Frameless mirrors are usually installed with mirror or hanging clips, which can be seen on the top, bottom and sides of the mirror. But these clips take away the frameless appearance of the mirror. You can safely and securely hang a frameless oval mirror from a wall using a mirror adhesive. When the glue is on the mirror and the mirror on the wall, you will never see the glue again.
To hang a frameless oval mirror without hanging clips, starting put a mark on the wall with a pencil where the bottom of the oval mirror will rest. Install the mirror nail on the wall, and then trace lines up with the mark. Next, turn oval mirrors and wipe the back with a lint-free cloth to remove dust and dirt. Open the mirror glue bottle. Hold self-adhesive over the back of the mirror and squeeze more vertical beads on the mirror back. Apply a 1/2 inch bead for each foot of the mirror.
Keep the beads from the edge to prevent the glue from running out of the sides of the mirror. Grasp the sides of the frameless oval mirror and lift it up. Carefully place the base in the middle of the oval mirror in the mirror nail. Lay the mirror backed against the wall and put pressure on the mirror with your hands. Allow the adhesive to cure for several hours up to several days. The adhesive requires air to heal and the cure time will depend on the humidity and temperature of the room.
