Freestanding vanity – A bathroom vanity is a simple counter and cabinet installation intended to support the bathroom sink. Independent dressers are a logical choice when remodeling a bathroom. The installation is easier for a suspended toilet, because it is not necessary to provide structural support to the vanity. It is important, however, to secure the dressing to the wall it will not move once the pipe is connected. Ensure that you have a solid and strong connection takes only a few minutes and should not be overlooked as you perform your job.
Installing freestanding vanity, place the dressing table, placed against the wall. Open the doors under the vanity. Look along the top wall of the back for several holes of the pre-drilled screws. Mark the position of the screw holes in the wall with a pencil. Move the vanity behind the wall.
Drill a hole in each of the marked places. Insert a hollow wall anchor into the wall at each of the points that you have drilled. Slide the new freestanding vanity into place. Insert a screw into each of the holes in the vanity screws. Tighten the screws until the wall anchors are attached, and then tighten until the screw heads are tight against the back inside the vanity.
